On 24 May 2026, Sunderland AFC wrote a new chapter. This limited edition print marks that moment — fans streaming toward the Stadium of Light, the city’s heartbeat rising to meet something genuinely historic.

The original was painted in Derwent Inktense on 100% cotton fine art paper, building the stadium’s curved facade in layers of line and wash. For this edition it has been rendered in a warm sepia tone — a nod to how a moment like this settles into memory rather than staying a snapshot. The date is hand-lettered directly onto the print: European Qualification Edition — 24 May 2026.

Only 25 prints have been made. Each one is individually numbered and will not be reprinted once the edition sells out.

About this print

Each print is produced in my studio using a professional Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-310 printer and 10 pigment-based inks on Museum Heritage Textured fine art paper, chosen for its exceptional quality and archival suitability. Pigment-based inks offer excellent colour stability and long-term display performance.
